This scholarship initiative represents a valuable collaboration between The Rotary Foundation (TRF) and the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education. Specifically crafted to foster enduring and fruitful connections between Rotarians and adept water and sanitation professionals, these scholarships contribute to the advancement of communities in these critical fields.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Rotary Scholarships, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution of higher learning.
- Demonstrated interest in acquiring skills and training in the fields of water and health, as well as water resources and ecosystem health.
- Showcase outstanding academic and leadership abilities.
Application Procedures
How to Apply: Interested applicants for the Rotary Scholarships 2023 should complete the online application. For Postgraduate Studies, follow the outlined steps below:
- Apply for admission to the IHE Delft Master program in Water and Sustainable Development by April 1, 2024.
- Locate your nearest Rotary club.
- Approach the Rotary club and inquire about their willingness to nominate you for a Rotary Scholarship.
- Complete the application form jointly with the Rotary Club.
- After full completion, the sponsoring Rotary Club submits your application to the Rotary/IHE Delft selection committee in The Netherlands before April 15, 2024.
- The outcome of the selection process will be communicated before May 15, 2024.
